So I had the weirdest dream last night. I was in London, and there was something going on. I didn't really know until a couple of tall buildings started to fall, like tower blocks. Water started running down the streets so me and a group of others ran into another building, and head up the stairs.
After the water went down, there were no more roads, and the blocks of buildings that were left behind were no attached to the ground, just floating freely. Over the edge of the pavement it was just water, like we were floating in an ocean, a few groups of people on each city block. Occasionally one block would collide with another, and people started getting territorial and angry when your block collided with theirs, and I was like "Calm down! Soon we'll float away from each other and we'll all have more space" and suddenly it seemed like the most normal thing in the world.
Later on in the dream, I was in a house with a group of people I didn't really know. They felt familiar but not people I actually know. I could see tentacles out the window, in the water, and a sudden banging on the front door. One person had gone missing earlier, so I guessed it was this tentacle thing that had taken them. I pushed a desk against the front door, and was alone in the hallway. The creature managed to break through the door, and was pushing against the desk, more tentacles kept coming through the gap and started pushing, it was quite strong... I tried calling for help, but I couldn't shout, I could feel myself straining to shout, but my voice was coming out not much louder than just normal talking, and the situation started to get a bit desperate...
Then I woke up to my alarm, got up and went to work. It was FREEZING.
